About me

I first remember becoming fascinated with UX design when as a teenager I would help my grandparents learn to use their phones. I remember wondering how something could be so intuitive for some people, yet so frustrating for others depending on lived experience. I found myself asking, how could this design be more effective for my grandparents without impacting the broader experience?

I studied Technology, Arts, and Media (now Creative Technology and Design) and Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. I fell in love with the UX design process through various internships and accessibility research opportunities. My additional background in computer science synergizes well with my primary focus as it assists me in having meaningful conversations with developers.

For the past four years I have been a UX designer at Twilio, focused on optimizing the marketing website. I started by working on Twilio's first ever Marketing Design System and then moved on to various website features such as site search, template creation, and improving the end-to-end omnichannel evaluation journey for various Twilio products.

Outside of work I love hiking, playing piano, and cooking new recipes.
